Dr. Strauch graduated from Texas A & M University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. After graduation, he relocated to Dallas to join the animal health care field. In May 1984, he opened a veterinary hospital in the Highland Village area and continued to practice at that until the opening of Animal Medical Center in June 2002. He has practiced small animal medicine in Highland Village for the past 20 years and continues to greatly enjoy working with pet owners to meet their pet health needs.

Dr. Schoelkopf was raised in the DFW Metroplex. Following her graduation from the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson in 2002 with a BS in Biology, she attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Parasitology in 2004, and published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of tick-borne diseases.

Dr. Schoelkopf continued her education at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University, graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Schoelkopf joined the practice after working in Dallas and Plano for almost a year. When not at work, she is an avid bookworm, and also enjoys time spent with family and friends, or simply relaxing with her beagle, Ross.
