Dr. Lauren Carnes - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Lauren Carnes grew up in Highland Village where, thanks to her dog, Sadie, she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at a young age.

During high school, she began her career at Animal Medical Center of Highland Village as a kennel technician. Dr. Carnes received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2013.

She went on to earn a master's degree in Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology from Texas A&M University in 2015. In May 2018, after nine great years in Aggieland, Dr. Carnes graduated with honors from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and returned to Highland Village to join Animal Medical Center of Highland Village as an associate veterinarian. Her veterinary interests are internal medicine, dermatology, preventative medicine, and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

When Dr. Carnes is not at the clinic she enjoys cooking, swimming, cycling, church, spending time with her nearby family and beloved Golden Retriever, Brady - and of course, watching the Aggies play football on Saturdays.

As a local resident, Dr. Carnes takes the utmost pride in providing the very best veterinary care to her clients, family, friends, and neighbors.
