Dr. McCullough graduated from Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.

After graduation, he practiced in Plano for 5 years with a multi-clinic group practice. He left Plano in 1991 to open a practice in Highland Village and remained at that location until the opening of Animal Medical Center of Highland Village in June 2002.

Dr. McCullough currently lives in Highland Village with his wife JoAnne along with their younger son Matthew & precious dog Libby. His two older children are now grown & off pursuing their own careers.

Dr. McCullough enjoys surgery, especially orthopedics & helped create the boards for the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic & Flower Mound Emergency Pet Clinic where he has also served for many years. He spends his extra time working with the AWANA program at Denton Bible Church that helps give young boys the tools to develop a strong moral foundation.
